About Entitylight

Entitylight gives lenders one search for a business's registration, liens and lawsuits, then alerts them to changes after funding.

What Entitylight does

Entitylight searches public business registries, UCC filing offices, court records and sanctions lists, and puts what it finds into one report. It can then check the businesses you watch and flag new liens, new lawsuits and changes to the state record.

You can use it in the app or through the API. See the data sources for what is searched and where.

Who it is for

Entitylight is for lenders and funders that review small businesses and want the full check on every application. It is a business service for companies in the United States.

Reports are about businesses. Entitylight is not a consumer reporting agency, and its reports are not consumer reports. The terms of service explain how reports may be used.

How Entitylight treats records

Records as filed
Names and details appear as the state, filing office or court shows them.
Unavailable is not clean
When a source cannot be searched, the report says so instead of showing an empty result.
No risk score
Entitylight returns the records so your team can apply its own credit policy.
A match is a lead
OFAC and other list matches are leads for review, not findings.

Who is behind Entitylight

Entitylight is a product of LendPipe.
